Terms & Conditions
These terms describe how Scaleit facilitates consultant discovery, booking, payment escrow, meeting scheduling, dispute handling, and platform use.
Welcome to Scaleit. By registering for or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
1. Definitions
Scaleit is the platform and related services used to connect business owners and consultants. A client is the person or business booking a consultation. A consultant is the professional offering expertise through the platform. A consultation is the booked advisory session delivered through Scaleit. Escrow means client funds are held until release conditions are met. A dispute is a formal issue raised about the quality or completion of a consultation.
2. Our role and scope
Scaleit is a marketplace and operations layer. We help users discover consultants, publish availability, process payments, generate meeting links, support dispute handling, and manage release timing.
We do not guarantee a specific business outcome from a consultation. The consultant remains responsible for the substance of the advice they provide.
3. Consultant obligations and verification
Consultants must provide accurate profile information, pricing, availability, and verification details. Scaleit may require identity review, payout details, LinkedIn or supporting documents, and may approve, reject, or suspend consultants through manual review.
Consultants agree to be punctual, act professionally, deliver consultations with reasonable care, and avoid moving platform-arranged deals off-platform.
4. Client obligations
Clients must provide accurate account and booking information, pay applicable fees at checkout, attend scheduled consultations on time, act respectfully, and avoid moving consultations off-platform to bypass fees.
5. Payments, fees, and escrow
Consultation payments are charged at booking and held in escrow. Scaleit records the split between platform commission and consultant payout when checkout starts, so the fee for that booking is fixed even if platform settings change later.
Funds may be released after client confirmation, after the release window expires without a dispute, or after a dispute decision that releases funds to the consultant. The platform commission rate may change over time and is shown inside the platform workflow.
6. Scheduling, rescheduling, and meeting flow
Clients book by selecting a consultant, choosing a published availability slot, and completing payment. Scaleit generates the meeting room automatically after booking confirmation.
Rescheduling is supported within the allowed window before the session, and each booking has a capped number of reschedules. When a schedule changes, the platform updates the booking state and notifies the relevant users.
7. Attendance and no-show handling
Scaleit stores attendance outcomes, actual meeting timing, and evidence logs such as join attempts, notes, and connection issues. This helps support no-show handling, disputes, and release decisions.
If a consultant does not attend, the client may be eligible for refund or reschedule. If a client does not attend, the booking may be marked as a client no-show and funds may be released to the consultant under the platform rules.
8. Disputes and refunds
Clients may open a dispute within the valid dispute window after the consultation. Both parties may submit evidence such as screenshots, chat logs, meeting materials, and attendance notes.
Scaleit reviews the evidence and may decide to issue a full refund, partial refund, release funds to the consultant, require rescheduling, or place the matter into manual review.
9. Prohibited conduct and fraud prevention
Clients and consultants must not circumvent the platform, submit fraudulent claims, misrepresent identity or expertise, or attempt to avoid platform fees. Chargebacks, false evidence, and abusive behavior may lead to suspension or account termination.
10. Ratings, reviews, and trust
After consultations, users may rate and review each other. Scaleit may use ratings, review volume, verification status, completion behavior, and dispute history to calculate trust indicators and visibility on the platform.
11. Intellectual property
Platform software, branding, content, and design remain the property of Scaleit or its licensors. Users retain rights to their own uploaded materials, but grant Scaleit the right to display and process them as needed to operate the service.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Scaleit is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, Scaleit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from platform use, consultant conduct, client conduct, or service interruptions.
13. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the applicable laws chosen by the platform operator. If you need a finalized legal version for launch, local counsel should review and complete the governing-law section for the relevant jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
Scaleit may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated version.
